"Ethereal" is a term that originates from the Greek word "aitherios," referring to the purest and clearest region of the sky where the gods reside in classical mythology. In contemporary use, "ethereal" describes something extremely delicate and light, in a way that seems too perfect for this world.

Carla Gía's "Ethereal" collection encapsulates this quest for utopia. Comprising five unique pieces, this series invites the viewer on an introspective journey toward fulfillment through abrupt forms and abstract elements floating on the canvas.
